So Jordan over at Oh Happy Day has me thinking… is a cake buffet the way to go? In my heart of hearts I’m a little tied to the iconic image of cutting the wedding cake, but this would be such a affordable stylish choice, and there would be lots of different things to try. Honestly, this looks much tastier then your average wedding cake. And of course we would still have the ceremonial cutting.
(PS, there will be no cake smooshing on faces.)
Hmmmm… I hear you on the iconic cake thing, but that photo is scrumptious. And very guest friendly. I am sure you will figure something out.

The part of me that narrows down restaurant menus to 3-5 items and says “you first” to my fellow diners when the waitstaff comes to take our orders loves this idea. You can have your cake and eat it too!

I love the idea of having several different kinds of cakes! I’m not really a fan of just plain ol’ cake….I like cheesecake, cookie cake, icecream cake, carrot cake….everything but regular traditional cake! I think we are going to end up having a dessert table….containing small versions of all those cakes, plus like brownies, pie…things like that!
