The Original Independent Bride

The Original Independent Bride | A Practical WeddingI can hear your thinking now. What a cool 1930′s bride, you are thinking to yourself. Tell me more about her wedding. Where was it held, and what are those funny shoes they are all wearing?

Well, I will tell you, because it is Friday, and you deserve something nice. This wedding is at a ROLLER RINK. And those funny shoes? Roller skates. That’s right. You’re Welcome.

Make your wedding what you want it to be, not just what it’s supposed to be. And have some fun. It’s not like a roller rink is the worlds most expensive place to rent. And I betcha people STILL tell stories about that wedding.

That’s so funny because every time my husband Jon and I drive by this roller skating rink called Tiffany’s. I have to mention how much I would love to shoot a roller skating wedding! I think I would shoot one for free if someone was up for it!

I’m scared of roller skates, it would never work.

But how fun, if you weren’t a total wimp about falling over!

My fiance and I met at the local roller rink. That’s where he proposed to me…over the intercom. He and I are having the wedding at the Logan Roller Rink in Logansport, IN. Not everyone in the wedding party can skate so only my fiance and I will be wearing skates.
