We sent out invitations to 200 people. And that was just close friends and family, we had to cut everyone else...

Ellie, a million thank yous for having a "big" wedding – our top priority is including all of our loved ones and that's a big list. And sometimes I freak out and wonder how I can do that without it turning into some godawful garter toss grossness (no offense, if that's your cup of tea – but it's definitely not mine). But you did it, and it's beautiful, and you've helped me de-stress hugely.

Ellie's wedding is just too cute. The most important thing really is to be happy, that's our main goal when I got married. So we were mainly relax and low key, and honestly didn't do much.
I don't think I can be as sane if I did half of what Ellie did. ;P

Thanks for this post! Usually I'm the type of person Ellie describes at the end of her post. I guess a 'if it feels good do it' kinda girl. I try not to worry about other's opinions. Funny though I still got a pang of guilt when she mention nixing signature drinks as that's something we're thinking of for our wedding. Funny isn't it how easily we can feel guilt about weddings, they seem to bring out the worst of our insecurities. I have to remember though, I want them because it was the the boy's idea, with absolutely no WIC influence, just something he thoguht of all by himself. So yeah, do what you feel I guess…
