Wonderful things around the web that I would be remiss if I did not mention:
- My dear friend Christine, powerhouse behind cevd custom invitation studio, and designer of our invitations (which I personally think are the most beautiful invites in the world, siiighhh...) has just re-launched her website, with all her photos styled by Chelsea Fuss of {Frolic}. If Christine could design my whole life and Chelsea could style it, I would be the worlds happiest girl. You can also see Christine's printable invitations on Etsy, and her style blog at pretty.pretty.paper.
- The new Once Wed. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Emily is turning Once Wed from a dress listing service and blog into one of the go-to sites on the internet for wedding inspiration. I have already buried myself in her inspiration galleries, which feel like digging around in my own slightly-girly, slightly-quirky head.
- A Night With Brooklyn Bride is coming to NYC next weekend. The Flashdance is DJing. Getcha selves there.
- And finally, the Sunday New York Times style section made me a happy girl this week. The Obamas, again, give me renewed faith in the institution of marriage. And a quirky wedding of a Stanford grad with a wedding cake pinata? Sometimes the wedding section does it up right.
Photo by Lisa Warninger with styling by Chelsea Fuss all for Cevd.

I am beginning to see articles everywhere about the demise of the over-the-top wedding. Especially the ones where money is spent just for the sake of spending it.
That's a refreshing change.
