Exactly a month ago, at about this time of day,* I was drinking mojitos on a balcony, reading a Bust Magazine interview with Diablo Cody** while my brand-brand-new husband read the New York Times, and we watched the sun set. Luckily for me, some of my favorite moments of our wedding day are moments we can re-live whenever we want.
So in that spirit, we’re celebrating tonight by eating some recently defrosted left over wedding cake, drinking some champagne, eating Round Table (what we did on the day after, thankyouverymuch) and watching a British political drama. Oh, and David wore his wedding tie to an interview, so I might lie around the house in my wedding shoes and hair flower.
It’s been a long delicious month. Here is to many more.
