Advertisers. Potential Advertisers. Wedding Elves. People we very much love because they allow APW to grow, and because they are awesome and they show up at our weddings and make art, and then we become friends and go out for drinks. You know, YOU guys. Attention!

In advance of the site re-launch (which is starting to slowly shape up as awesome, more on that later), I'm wanting to fill in some gaps of resources for Team Practical. So! If you are:

  • A photographer who reads this blog and thinks "these people are my people."
  • Located in one of the following areas where WE HAVE NO PHOTOGRAPHY ELVES (sad clown) but oh-so-many readers: New York City (or the greater tri-state area)*, the greater LA area, The Austin/Houston/Dallas triangle, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta

I'm offering you 25% off your first ad purchase with the blog, and a free group intro post (with any new sponsors). This means ad rates start at between $45-$55 per month. So send me an email, and we'll chat.

Yay for getting you guys more resources already!

PS if this goes well, yes, yes, I'll do another round of discounts with my next top-5 undeserved markets. Pinky swear.
*NYC ladies. We do have the fab Keira Lemonis. She's more upstate, but she'll totally help you out. And all of the elves travel, obviously.

Can I recommend you contact my fabulous NYC (or rather, long island city queens) photographer Sarah Tew? She's reasonably priced, super nice, and we wound up with some gorgeous engagement pictures that looked like us…and not like we were playing around on a movie set.

    Exactly!

  9. Yes! Atlanta wedding planning so far as been so frustrating because I keep seeing all these awesome vendors on blogs and inevitably they're all the way across the country!

PS– My father is a photographer (though, of course, he won't be working my wedding!) and I'll have him come check you out and see if he thinks it would be a good fit! His website is turnerimages.com if any Atlanta area brides want to check him out, and he's always willing to travel.

    Exactly!
