I’m an Italian practical bride-to-be and I’ve been silently following your great blog for months, but now I feel I must comment to tell you I love how the new site looks! Brava Meg!

  • caitlin

It already feels like home. The kind of home where you kick off your shoes, hug somebody, put on your comfy clothes and curl up with a good book.

(I am also totally in love with the font of the post headers. It’s fabulous!)

    • meg

      Love.

  • Chelsea

I must say, at first I missed the frazzled-looking brides from the top of the old page… but then I delved into the comments, and there they were!

    • meg

Of course you got a happy bride for that comment ;)

I totally love it. It is everything you said it would be. and I love the reclaiming wife spot too! although I am a little sad that I am no longer on your blog roll, but I know you can’t have just everyone…

    • meg

      It’s a work in progress…

oh, it looks wonderful! I’m a long-time reader, delurking to say THANK YOU for your dedication to keeping the wedding world REAL…and pretty!

  • Philly bride

Meg, the new site is fantastic! I’ve been a follower for a while now, but it’s wonderful to be able to flip through the old stuff so easily. It could cause problems for my schoolwork… but who doesn’t benefit from a bit of procrastination?

  • Nina

Loving the organization! I have been reading since last fall and though I went back and read a lot of the old posts, there were so many good ones I’d missed that I am now really enjoying.

And of course, the site is absolutely beautiful! The main banner could not be more perfect.

  • Nikki

    Loooove it!

  • harmke

I absolutely love it. the banners are soooo fantastic! and a seperate reclaiming wife part! and the roll-down thingies! so organized yet so pretty!
the only thing is the font of the posts. I guess I just have to get used to that. like a new couch, just have to sit/lie/make love on it very often ;)

    • meg

Wait. The fonts on the post are the SAME. It’s Times New Roman. I’m confused.

      • http://brokensaucer.blogspot.com sera

I’m sure it’s just her browser. It may be defaulting to something else…

  • Brendarling

Great job Meg! It is brilliant!
I have been waiting for what the new design would be, since you first announced the re-design and it is wonderful.
I am especially in love with the colors and the reorganization of content in the drop down menues – so easy to find stuff now!

Yay! It’s so pretty and easily maneuverable! i’m so proud of you, Meg! I’ve now been reading this site since I got engaged last May, and I’m getting married at the end of May. Thanks for helping to keep me sane over the last year. xo, Giovanna

totally digging the new site… it looks amazing.

  • Julianna

love the new format & the ability to reply directly to a specific comment. also wondering, is there a way to somehow view “new” comments from the last time I read through? before, it was all chronological so I could just scroll down, but now that people can reply to a comment on a comment on a comment I’m finding it harder to figure out. not a big deal, just curious if there’s a better way! thanks again.

  • Erin

so excited about the new design, i’ve been waiting with bated breath to see how it would turn out and it’s gorgeous! but i thought i should mention one thing: i don’t know if anyone else is having this trouble, but the font is really broken up on my screen. it’s surprisingly hard to read. sorry if it’s just me, but i thought you’d want to know. =) otherwise it’s really pretty!

  • Nichole

Yay! It’s so pretty! LOVE it. Congratulations :)

This is so fantastic, easy to navigate and beautiful. I really love it. My favorite part about the re-design is the handwritten touch, which just seems like a perfect fit for this place you have built online. I’m excited for you.
