Other cool stuff we should know about: Our wedding was exactly as we wanted it. The ceremony was beautiful (we both got teary eyed), our friends and family were so happy and loving, the food and drinks were awesome, and we danced the night away.
We loved our place cards. They were wooden hearts that we found on Etsy, which we painted according to the food choice and then wrote the guests’ names on them. Then the guests wrote us notes on the back, and put them in our memory box. Some of them were funny, some serious, some really sweet and loving. And now we can look back at the place cards and relive the wonderful memories anytime.
Lauren’s nephew, Dimitri, was our ring bearer. His alter ego was either Anakin Skywalker or Ironman.
The location is fabulous—outdoor and indoor space all in one. Barbara, the owner, is great to work with. She also takes care of a lot of the day-of set-up, which meant less for us to worry about.
Favorite thing about the wedding: My wife.
