We’ve known Christina Richards since 2009(!), and in those seven years APW has seen plenty of trends, filters, and photographers blow up and burn out, all while Christina’s work just quietly keeps getting better and better. Prior to shooting weddings, Christina studied photography at SCAD, and spent years working for fine art, commercial, and editorial photographers, as well as creating her own fine art work. That extensive background in photography has led her to follow her own instincts as an artist, instead of messing around with what’s hot in wedding photography right now. We’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Christina’s strong, consistent point of view just may be the closest thing to timeless you’re going to find in wedding photography.

I’m fascinated by life’s fleeting, honest, and spontaneous moments. With my photography I work to distill these qualities into photographs that are beautiful and full of life. I hope to give my clients a collection of images that are true to the spirit of the day and capture the unexpected moments in between.
