Hey APW,
It’s your favorite intern, Jareesa, here! This week I’ve been behind the scenes working on a few things—brainstorming my next APW piece, knitting, and trying to not let my allergies kill me.
It’s the last few weeks of summer, which is always bittersweet to me. I love summer (I think my July birthday has something to do with it) and summers in Minnesota do not disappoint. The end of summer in Minnesota means one thing: the Minnesota State Fair! I’m a huge State Fair fan (it’s called the Great Minnesota Get-Together for a reason). Any place where I can walk around, stuff my face, check out cool exhibits, get free stuff, see free entertainment, and ride some rides is my kind of place. We’re heading to the state fair this weekend, and I’m already dreaming about mini-donuts and all the other goodies I’m going to devour.
While I love summer, autumn is actually my favorite season. I’m going to enjoy these last few weeks of summer before football starts and the leaves start to change.
