Hey APW,
I might be the only one, but I’m so excited that it’s December. Partially I’m excited because I love the start of winter, with the first snow of the season, the Christmas lights, and all the cocoa. I’m also really excited because #BabyPi is due to make her arrival at the end of the month, and I cannot wait to meet my baby girl (and also stop getting kicked in the ribs!).
December also gets me in a sentimental mood, as I reminisce about my childhood and reflect on the past year. I started 2016 by making a vision board, with all the things I wanted to accomplish or manifest. Not everything materialized this year, but I’m grateful for the things that did (like our Italy trip and for making a baby). I’m NOT grateful that my writing fellowship is coming to an end—I’ve learned so much this year and hands-down, APW has the best team. Overall, 2016 has been a win, and I’m excited to end it on a high note with a new little person.
