Why do you want to work with APW Couples?
APW couples are in love! They’re excited to be getting married, love DIY details, are DRAMA-FREE, and they’re people I could be friends with. It’s so important that I connect with my clients on a personal level. We’re going to be spending a lot of time together on an important day in your history! I love that APW couples are not only excited about their marriage celebration, but most importantly, they are focused on having a successful marriage.
Describe your artistic approach to weddings?
I take an editorial to photojournalistic approach to weddings. Unobtrusively capturing the moments as the day unfolds is key in providing romantic images, but also giving a little guidance when needed so your best self shines through in your wedding images.
I’ve learned that the love you share, the friendship you’ve built and nourished, and the supportive family and friends who have helped shape the individuals you’ve become are the things that matter most.
My goal is to highlight the relationships and people who are important to you, so looking back at your wedding images will make you smile at the moments frozen in time.
It is also my intention is to create timeless images that capture the true raw emotion from your wedding day while documenting everything in between.
Ultimately, my aim is to provide you with a seamless client experience and a beautiful heirloom album that you and your families will enjoy for generations.
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
Aside from spending time with my husband Jon, I love to paint, cook (with wine), and throw on the potter’s wheel. I LOVE pop culture, E Entertainment, and Fashion. I’m a cosmetics junky and live for trashy magazines like Us Weekly and Life and Style. I have a new obsession with DIY projects. I love being near the ocean but not in it. We’re currently living out our dreams by shacking up in Dublin, Ireland and taking as many European trips as possible while we’re here.
What’s your favorite book?
I’m not embarrassed to admit that I love Chic-lit. On a more serious note, The History of Love by Nicole Krauss is one of my favorites!!
What’s your favorite movie?
If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?
I love music and I always have a new favorite song. Currently it’s “Happy” by Pharrell Williams…
