Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

I love weddings that are small intimate affairs and weddings that are large extravaganzas, but most of all I love weddings that are a unique reflection of who the couple getting married TRULY is. I believe APW couples are the kind of people who plan their weddings how they want them to be and not based on external expectations of how their wedding should be. I admire individuality and love when my clients walk off the beaten path because I myself am walking a path that is my very own.

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

I am a photojournalist by training so my approach is very laid back and unobtrusive. I want the photos I capture to be an accurate representation of who you really are without my interfering.

What are your non-work-related hobbies?

There are two things that define me at this point in my life. One is being a photographer and the other is being a mother. Both take up a lot of my time and I wouldn’t have it any other way. If I do get a moment to myself I love to read, spend time outdoors, antique shop, do yoga and bake!

What’s your favorite book?

After traveling to Finland I am completely enraptured by Tove Jansson’s book series about the Moomin Family. Her writing is so clever, creative, sweet and innocent.

What’s your favorite movie?

Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure! “Is this something you can share with the rest of us Amazing Larry?”

If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?

“We’ve Got the Beat!” By the Go-Go’s.
