Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

I was referred to this site by Shannon from J. Jasper Events. She said my kind of people were here. And they are! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t stumbled across this site sooner, the readers of APW are exactly those I look to connect with – down to earth, relaxed, chill people who like to have fun. The couples of APW throw celebrations that are unique to who they are, I respect and identify with that immensely. Thank you for being real, I will give you the same in return.

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

My approach for weddings is to photograph happiness and beauty, everywhere, always. It’s completely natural for me, I’m entirely visually oriented. I always let the day flow, and capture it as it actually happens.

What are your non-work-related hobbies?

Eating organic vegetarian food from the Farmer’s Market. It’s one of the most exciting days of the week at my house, seriously. I’m a long time dancer of most varieties, I enjoy yoga, running, biking, being outdoors, exploring the forest, and music and art in general. I’m hoping to find a ukelele that will stay in tune (my cat insists), I would also consider a banjo. I also really really love animals. Growing up I lived on a sort of ranch, and at the most we had 19 cats, 4 dogs, 3 horses, also various numbers of rats, mice, lizards, and snakes. Story telling, dreams, and save the world concepts are also great.

What’s your favorite book?

The Bone Man of Benares. You probably don’t know it, but definitely should. I read this book a couple times per year. If you’re a traveler, a romantic, a hippie at heart, or just like good stories – this book is fantastic.

What’s your favorite movie?

Lost in Translation, The Fifth Element, Life Aquatic, Unmade Beds, Amelie

If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?

Psh! Desk dance parties are spontaneous, I’d leave it up to Pandora. Last time I just *had to* randomly dance, Irish folk music was playing, and it was glorious.
