Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

We just want to tell real stories about real and interesting people. APW couples are exactly that. We see them as people who approach their weddings, marriages and lives with a degree of sanity, not always seen around the wedding world.
Making films for like-minded people always feels more rewarding. The process is more fun and the story always more engaging and real. For us, this community just makes sense, and we want to be a part of it.

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

When making films our focus is always on the story, from the time we meet you until we deliver the film. Story is what guides us. We ask the questions that others can't, in a conversational manner with such a grace that those who we are speaking with always feel comfortable. We act on behalf of the person watching the film, family, friends your kids, your grandkids.
There is nothing quite as amazing as looking into someone’s eyes as they tell a story, as they articulate what they have felt all along. It is a very addictive experience for a filmmaker.
We also look for the story throughout the wedding day. Moments great and small that express the relationships between you and the people around you. Our goal is to be sensitive to those sometimes subtle connections without disturbing them in any way.
In the end we want to create a document with a richness that no other medium can match. We want this to be the one thing you take away and realize that it might be the best way to articulate what this moment felt like, to tell the real story of the day.
