Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

I love that for the most part the APW readers are people just like me. APW was a HUGE resource when I was planning my wedding in 2009 and I feel like Team Practical brides totally get me and my style!

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

I take a relaxed approach to wedding and portrait photography. I am pretty low key and love for my clients to become friends. I feel that my connection to my couples lends to a wedding day that is more relaxed, comfortable and the pictures are much more intimate.

What are your non-work-related hobbies?

Reading, gaming, cooking, and loving on my husband & son.

What's your favorite book?

I recently finished the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind and LOVED it but I also ADORE the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. I also of course love all things Harry Potter.

What's your favorite movie?

Of all time? Well that would probably be Dirty Dancing.

If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?

Anything by LMFAO!

Explain your travel policy:

Wedding packages include up to 90 miles from my home in zip 22025 (which tends to almost stretch from Richmond, VA to Baltimore, MD. Additional milage is calculated at the standard milage rate as determined by the IRS for the applicable year. For weddings that are more than 90 miles one way, overnight accommodations may be required. For weddings over 240 miles away, airfare, lodging and rental car are required. I offer discounted travel rates to the following metro areas: Philadelphia, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Southern California, and most of the state of Florida. Please email me for more information.
