Why do you want to work with APW Couples?
APW readers all seem to have their heads and hearts in the right place. I’ve yet to meet someone through APW that I haven’t immediately liked.
Describe your artistic approach to weddings?
Learning about you, and who and what are most important to you, informs how I approach your wedding. My photojournalistic style is candid, classic, and clean – focusing on interactions, atmosphere and significant details. I strive to create beautiful and authentic images with a sense of intimacy and presence. I prefer to document the moments as they unfold naturally before my lens, only offering suggestions while we take some creative portraits. I love getting to record your story for you, your guests, and future generations.
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
Cooking, reading, yoga, and travel. I’m also a sucker for BBC TV shows – I’m looking at you Downton, Call the Midwife, and Sherlock.
What’s your favorite book?
Unabashedly Pride and Prejudice. What can I say? I love love stories. And the humor. And the subtleties.
What’s your favorite movie?
See above. Just don’t make me pick between the 1995 and 2005 versions.
If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?
“(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher” by Jackie Wilson
“Come on Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners
