Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

APW couples are hands down my absolute ideal clients; genuine, unique, fun and they understand the importance of celebrating marriage and love with not just each other, but also friends and family. APW couples are probably the most authentic group I have ever witnessed, and with the primary focus of their day being marriage, love, individuality and of course a celebratory spirit, it is an absolute honor to be there to witness and capture the beginning of a beautiful life together.

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

Authentic, Timeless, Romantic Imagery!! These three words describe the type of images I seek to provide for my amazing couples, and I do so by being a storyteller!! I capture events in their naturally occurring environment, the laughter, tears, joy and everything in between on both digital and film format! A great story is one in which you know the characters and their history, and ultimately what makes them unique!! Therefore getting to know my couples, is very important to me, because I want to capture who they are as both individuals and as a couple. I just want to be your friend frankly, because then I am able to tell your epic story, which is really what it is all about; two lives coming together and starting a whole new narrative. I don’t believe I can do this without building a relationship with you first, and with that in place, I just tag along on your day and capture artistic, unobtrusive, genuine and authentic imagery of the beginning of this brand new chapter in not only your lives, but also in your families!

What are your non-work-related hobbies?

Does binge watching tv count as a hobby? How about finding and sampling new types of wines or excessive coffee consumption? If not, then I’ll say reading, spending time with my hubby Alexander, playing with our doggy child Zoe, and finding ways to incorporate movie quotes and music lyrics into everyday conversations. :)

What’s your favorite book?

It is a three way tie between The Giver, The Fault in our Stars and Pride and Prejudice. And I love dystopian trilogies and series, if they have been written, I have most likely read them.

What’s your favorite movie?

I am a HUGE movie buff!! This is probably one of the most difficult questions to answer, but I will say “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” only because this is the first movie I remember watching as a kid, and I can quote almost all the dialog!

If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?

Oh, without a doubt “Safety Dance” by Men Without Hats! This just may be the best solo dance party song ever!!
