Why do you want to work with APW Couples?
Because they are rad individuals that understand a wedding is only the beginning of a marriage. Plus this is an awesome community of intelligent, supportive, balanced human beings. Beyond that, my APW clients are consistently awesome people who I can’t help but become friends with.
Describe your artistic approach to weddings?
I like my work to reflect a magical blend of my client’s personalities, wants and needs as well as my own artistic perspective. I dig when people come to me and ask for specifics, but I relish the words, “We trust you”.
I strive to capture moments that will surprise and delight my clients. Moments that might be missed by a busy couple. Moments that encapsulate the feeling of a day. Moments with people that may not be around next year or even next month. Moments mixed with a dash of sun flare are my favorite.
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
I dabble in painting, drawing, design and web programming for fun. I adore cooking almost as much as I do eating. I have a brand new baby veggie garden from which I pick and cook things that I love to eat. I love schmancy dinners at spendy restaurants on special occasions. I heart bikes. You can find me moonlighting as a hipster on a fixie or cruising around town in a skirt and flipflops on a Denver Bike Share cruiser with my dog Oz.
