Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

We love working with people looking for something unique and special for their wedding and we know that APW couples fit that bill!
We love hearing how you met and why you chose your first dance song and we feel honored to get to play it for you. We think it is amazing that we get to become a part of your story, even in a small way and we can’t wait to see your family get up and dance to our music.

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

We like to think of what we do as providing a soundtrack to your special day and we want to work with you to make it exactly what you envisioned.
We think it is ridiculous to have to hire classical musicians for the ceremony, a jazz band for the cocktail hour and a DJ for the reception, so we formed a group of super talented musicians who can cover any style from a boot-stomping barn dance to a classical wedding march. We think hidden fees are shenanigans so we will always be up front with you about our fees and what they cover.
We are happy to take song requests, make song suggestions, and include you in choosing the music that will be the backdrop of your wedding day. We will coordinate with your venue, officiant and other vendors to go over the little details that will make your day run smoothly.

What’s your favorite book?

This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald. He wrote it at age 22 in hopes of winning 19-year old Zelda back after a break-up. Scott and Zelda got married a week after publication, so it must have worked!

What’s your favorite movie?

Walk the Line. June and Johnny make a great country love story.

If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?

Ho, Hey by the Lumineers and yes, we will be singing along!
