Why do you want to work with APW Couples?

I love working with, talking to, hanging out with all the folks on APW because they've got their brains and hearts in the right place: melded together in a perfect blend of unity. It's easy to get wrapped up in wedding madness, and the people on APW know that, acknowledge that, and are amazingly intentional about crafting their weddings--and their lives--into meaningful and beautiful events (and I'm not just talking photo-pretty).

Describe your artistic approach to weddings?

I blend photojournalism with environmental portraiture, and a quirky & artsy thing or two thrown in when I get the chance. Most of all my artistic approach involves a sensitivity to the couples' ebb and flow on the day of. I'm there to take pictures and help make the day happen so great pictures can happen, but I always keep in mind that at the end of the day, this is about your MARRIAGE.

What are your non-work-related hobbies?

Baking, embroidery, hiking, two-dimensional artmaking, mommying, wifing.

What's your favorite book?

That changes quite a bit from day to day! Timeless classics in my library include C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy and Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien.

What's your favorite movie?

One I analyzed in college: A Clockwork Orange. One I could recite from memory in high school: Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Classic comedy: Airplane. Drama: Pride & Prejudice.

If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?

Something by LCD Soundsystem, tUnE-yArDs, or Outkast.

Explain your travel policy:

I'll go anywhere! Generally, my travel fees (excluding overnight accomodations) are included in overall pricing for contiguous 48 states of the U. S. of A.
