Getting married is one of the happiest and most exciting times in your life – and it should feel like it! APW couples are great because they never forget the reason they’re doing all this planning: they’re marrying the love of their life. If planning feels stressful, you remind yourself that it should be fun, and in the end all that matters is spending this time with the people you love. Describe your artistic approach to weddings?
We love capturing small details and candid emotion, and also love getting grand impact shots that showcase your location and bridal party. Our couples find that these images are great for artwork in their homes. We also recognize the importance of remembering even those little moments in your day – everything from how beautiful your bouquet was to how your soon-to-be husband looked at you as you walked down the aisle. Because your wedding is a unique work of art, and one that specifically reflects the love and stories of the families who are being joined together, you deserve the very best photography and thoughtful service to go with it. We love talking to brides and grooms beforehand to learn about what’s most important to you – so we can make sure to capture those life-long memories on your special day. What are your non-work-related hobbies?
We love spending time with our families and being outside.
If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?
We do this all the time, so it’s too hard to pick just one! We usually just flip on Pandora and pick a popular artist of the moment, and then get down in our chairs when a great song comes on.
Explain your travel policy:
True Story Studios will travel at no additional cost for any wedding in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland metropolitan area. We also frequently travel to Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, and down to Virginia Beach and consider those locations part of our local area. Destination wedding? No problem, we travel nationwide and worldwide as well. Please contact our studio for information specific to your venue location.
