Other Cool Stuff we should know about
The Farmgate is bordered by the White Salmon river where we had our first kiss on our first official date 3 years prior. For our wedding we spent 4 days on the farm, preparing for the big day while also swimming in the river, playing lawn games and partying with our friends & family. It truly took a village to bring it all together. Most attendees camped in the field adjacent to the farm with a backdrop of Mt Adams, catching up with old friends and making new ones. Our rehearsal dinner was catered by the local pizza place, who brought in their portable wood fired oven. We rented a movie projector and big screen and after dinner laid on blankets in the grass watching The Princess Bride.
Favorite thing
The ceremony. For those few moments it felt like time stood still and the outpouring of love & support from our friends & family was palpable. Second favorite: the dance party of course.
