Four years ago today, I began a weeklong road trip from Connecticut to California. I had been working for APW just a few short months, but had yet to clock any in-person time with Meg or any of the team for that matter. Halfway through my trip, the first APW book was released. I remember sitting in a hotel room somewhere in the Midwest, watching as the APW community threw so much support behind the book that we raised it up to the top of Amazon’s bestsellers for the day. The APW book buy was one of the earliest indications that I was working with a community of incredible people.
Fast forward to now, and Meg’s next book, the #APWPlanner, is set to be released exactly one month from tomorrow. A lot has changed in the past four years, least of all being that Meg went and had two babies. Which means that we won’t get to do as much in-person stuff with this book as last time (sadly, no book tour with a toddler and an infant). But that doesn’t mean the whole team isn’t really, really, ridiculously excited for the #APWPlanner to come out. It’s totally different from the first book, and answers all the logistical questions the last one couldn’t—and that we’ve never been able to answer in depth on the site. (Why? It took six months of research to find the honest answers.) And since we can’t get together in person again, we figured the best way to celebrate the new book was a giveaway for all of you who have been with us this whole time.
