On self care and Scandal

HEY APW,

After almost three straight months of having visitors at our house (thanks New England winter, for keeping our home full of our favorite people!), things are starting to get back to normal around here. For the first time in pretty much my whole slovenly life, I’m looking forward to cleaning my house and doing a whole lot of nothing, including catching up on what I’ve been promised are really good episodes of Mad Men. In the meantime, I’ve been working really hard at slowing life down a little and practicing some self-care (translation: sleeping more than four hours a night and going to the gym more often than once every six months).

So here’s to better balance and Olivia Pope and dresses that look like tutus. And now it’s your open thread, so get to it!

Cheers,

Maddie
