Describe your business in 1-3 short sentences.
Hi there, I’m Christine. A Sagittarius, adventure-loving, elf hunter-at-heart, wedding + lifestyle photographer based in Atlanta, GA. My goal is to capture those authentic moments from your engagement and wedding day – and bring out my couple’s personalities, quirks and genuine interactions in the photos.
It’s important to choose a photographer that makes you feel confident and excited. I love getting to know my couples… during our time together, from our first meeting to the end of your reception, I’ll spend time getting to know the two of you, your personalities, your interests – all so I can help best tell the pieces of your fun and unique story in the images that feel like you.
Why do you want to work with APW couples?
APW couples are down to earth and fun to be around! I love seeing couples bring out their personalities and passions in their special day – whether it’s a themed, colorful, sparkly, or just an overly creative wedding. I was an APW bride myself, and I love getting to work with other couples to document their memorable, fun and unique weddings too.
What is your artistic approach to weddings?
I believe in catching those in between moments, the raw emotions, and even the things that you may not see during the crazy rush of the wedding day. My style is vibrant, bold, and natural – with a lot of laughter and movement in between.
I capture a blend of the traditional posed shots so you forever have these, as well as the moments as they happen, from the candid moments of laughter to the spontaneous bursts of tears. I encourage my clients to be themselves – talk to each other, laugh at silly things – because that’s what is going to make a picture memorable and genuine.
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
Outside of photography, I am also a ballet dance teacher. I love spending my time outdoors enjoying nature, indoors playing Skyrim, or out shopping for some new and/or recycled fashion and treasures.
What's your favorite book?
‘Harry Potter’ series, hands down. Other than that, I’d say ‘Lord of the Rings’ series and ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ by Sarah J Maas.
What's your favorite movie?
I’m more of a series type of girl, but if I had to pick my top movies, I’d say ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Interstellar’.
If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?
That’s a tough one. It could literally range from “Wannabe” Spice Girls to “In the End” Linkin Park to “Monster” EXO.
