Describe your business in 1-3 short sentences.
I create photo collections that tell your story - reflect the way your wedding day looked, reflect the way it felt. I focus on the moments that capture who you are, who your community is, and how much fun your love can be.
Why do you want to work with APW Couples?
APW readers are smart, and sensible, and wholly invested in finding a way to have a wedding that reflects who they are and what their partnership means to them. They're community-focused, and kind, and they're the kind of people I want to be around in general, and work with whenever I can.
Describe your artistic approach to weddings?
I approach weddings from the perspective of an anthropologist. I'm as interested in you and your love as I am the moments your grandparents share on the dance floor, or the way your oldest friend looks at your partner just before the ceremony begins. I aim to be unobtrusive. Your wedding is not a photo shoot. It is a day that deserves to be beautifully documented.
Your wedding is for standing up and celebrating your commitment to each other, first and foremost. It's also a day for you to graciously thank your community, and for your community to graciously give you their support, and their love. (Your wedding is also, oftentimes, a day for a really good dance party).
I hold a special place in my heart for quiet elopements. Sometimes your wedding is about being alone, together.
