Moxie Bright Events is a boutique wedding planning company based in Los Angeles. We have a love affair with Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. Also, we plan anywhere. Seriously. We have our passports and a packed bag ready to go.

We specialize in weddings for modern couples seeking a more personal and unique approach to their wedding day. We are LGBTQ allies. Our core values of hospitality, personalization, fun, philanthropy & respect direct our approach to every wedding we plan.

It’s not second-nature that you already know how to plan a wedding. After all, how many large-scale (possibly formal) events have you thrown in your own honor before? None? Yes, that’s what we thought.

And you know what? It’s all going to be OK. It’s going to be better than OK.

Why do you want to work with APW couples?

APW couples are the best! Every couple that has come my way from APW has been amazing. This is a community of smart, savvy, soulful people. APW couples care about their wedding day, but they also care equally about their marriage. They know that the pretty and the details have their time and place, but don’t lose focus of the big picture.

What is your artistic approach to weddings?

As your wedding planner partner, we help you balance all the elements of an amazing event: gorgeous, personal and heartfelt design, meaningful moments with your loved ones, and a calm, relaxed, and festive atmosphere. We really believe that all three elements are not only possible but essential to an excellent event. 

Your wedding should be a meaningful expression of the values you and your partner share. It should look like you, but most importantly, it should feel like you. Both of you. 

That’s what we do for our couples throughout the planning process – we discover who you are as a pair, and we bring that to the party. Every time. 

What are your non-work-related hobbies?

Writing, Reading, Cooking, and Eating. Spending time with my husband when neither of us are staring at screens. Hiking with our dogs. Getting out of town as much as possible. Shaking my butt at Zumba. Forever searching for the most perfect mac & cheese that I don’t have to make myself. Binge-watching my shows (Broad City, Parks & Rec, The Office, Gilmore Girls) over and over and over. 

What's your favorite book?

I’m a huge business nerd, so lately that is all I’ve been reading. Biz books: Start with Why, Purple Cow, Setting the Table.

I was extraordinarily not stressed out the week of my wedding, and it was all thanks to Renee. Now that I’ve been through wedding planning with her as our wedding manager, I honestly don’t understand how anyone else gets married. She was calm, collected, and completely on top of everything. As a wedding manager, she was included every step of the way, giving us recommendations, her opinions, etc. The closer we got to the wedding, the less worried I was. I knew that she had everything under control. Hiring Renee was the absolute best decision I made.
