Hey APW,
In a week that has been hard for so many people to make it through, and with accounts from the Orlando shooting still pouring in on top of new articles about the two-year-old killed by an alligator, and Jo Cox, the British MP who was killed on Thursday, it’s been tough to find any moments of light and grace.
We thought that instead of trying to come up with something new to say about a week that has been awful, we’d open up today’s Happy Hour to ask this: What’s something good that happened in your week? Where did you find a moment that allowed you to pause and express gratitude? I’ll start. This week my kid, who has a disability and is a bit of a warrior, finally nailed both freestyle and underwater swimming—and when you can’t always control the movements your body makes, something like that is huge. It was his moment, but I totally Momed out in the best way.
So now I bounce it to you: Where did you find a bit of happiness?
XO,
Stephanie
