Why do you want to work with APW Couples?
Many of my clients are avid APW readers. My goal is always to work with clients who are like-minded; charming, pragmatic, excited, and ready to explore. I want to know them, and I want for them to know me. APW attracts exactly those individuals and I find that quite desirous. It's that quality that I seek in my own relationships, both personal and professional.
Describe your artistic approach to weddings?
Wedding photography puts me right in the heart of all the action. I'm a sucker for unique aesthetic experiences and there's always something new to learn from my clients. Through capturing weddings, I get to dive right into the crux of people's endless creativity. Watching couples celebrate their commitment and fall in love all over again that very day — it's this type of collaboration that inspires me... and to be honest, it doesn't get any better than that. I approach it as I would with my own wedding — with love + care.
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
Gardening when the weather is appropriate, always working on The Pygmalion Festival which is a music/literary/art/tech fest I co-own with my husband, + planning my handmade and vintage portion of it, called The Made Fest.
