Describe your business in 1-3 short sentences.
Why do you want to work with APW couples?
We love APW and have used it as a great resource during our own wedding planning and therefore we consider ourselves an “APW couple” too! We know that every day of the wedding planning process, couples are faced with trade-off decisions—how beautiful something is vs. how much you are able and willing to spend on it or what else you are giving up. We want woman to look and feel their best on their wedding day without having to trade off in another budget category in order to do so.
What is your artistic approach to weddings?
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
Eating, Sleeping, Watching addictive TV shows, Teaching Buddy the dog new tricks
What's your favorite book?
To many to list!! But a classic would have to be Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
What's your favorite movie?
Crazy Stupid Love. 90s romcoms, especially those of the Nora Ephron variety. And of course – Clueless.
If you could have a one minute dance party at your desk, what song would you pick?
Feel So Close – Calvin Harris

Pros
I had been to a handful of bridal shops before I found Lace & Liberty, and was having trouble finding a dress I loved. When I called them, I spoke to Annie, and after explaining that I had found myself liking only parts of dresses – the bodice of one dress, and the skirt of another, etc. – she exclaimed, “that’s why we exist!” That alone was all I needed to schedule an appointment. From the get-go, the stylists at Lace & Liberty were not only kind, but extremely validating and patient as they helped this indecisive bride figure out what she wanted. I ended up pairing the top of the Arabella dress with a chiffon skirt and it was something that truly felt like “me”! When I finally settled on a decision, they were extremely clear and communicative about when I had to provide them with follow up information. They also provided me with updates (without me asking) about how my dress was coming along – which is obviously much appreciated when you’re juggling dozens of other wedding details. Wedding planning is unique in that it creates an opportunity to be really intentional about supporting businesses who reflect your own values and whose mission you care about. Lace & Liberty is absolutely one of those businesses. They’re an innovative company, owned and operated by smart, compassionate women, who are providing some much-needed disruption to the wedding industry. You won’t regret working with them!
