Travel Policy
I am based in Hoboken, just across the river from New York City. My rates include travel within 2 hours of NYC. I also grew up in Bucks County, PA and there are no travel fees for any events in Philly or Bucks County. And if you’re getting married further away, please get in touch – I love to travel!

Describe your business in 1-3 short sentences.
I love working with couples who are authentic, fun, down-to-earth, and want to celebrate their individuality. For over 10 years, I’ve been providing couples with dedicated caring service as they’ve trusted me to document and capture one of the most important days in their lives.

What is your artistic approach to weddings?
I like to get to know you first, whether it be through your engagement session or dinner at your favorite restaurant, so that I’m not a stranger on your wedding day. I would never treat a couple as just another set of names in fancy clothes. Instead I want to get to know your love story so that I can capture it with honesty and intimacy. I love when couples have unique touches to their day that are special and their own and maybe a little different. My approach is to capture and document your day as it unfolds, so when you look through your wedding photos afterwards you can say, “Yes, that’s me. That was my day.”
What are your non-work-related hobbies?
I like baking and then giving/mailing my creations to friends. I eat plenty of my creations, but it’s also nice to surprise someone with cookies in the mail!
I’ve also been playing in a competitive skeeball for the last 6+ years! It’s such a fun way to break up the week.

Hiring Adena was the best decision we made while wedding planning. She was such a pleasure to work with and was extremely professional and friendly the entire time. Adena is not only an excellent photographer but also a great person to talk to about everything wedding related (plus she has great dessert tips). Adena made sure to get to know us during every conversation we had and during our engagement shoot. By the time our wedding happened, we were so comfortable with Adena that it felt as though our friend was taking our photos. The photos she took are stunning and really captured the day and our emotions perfectly. Bottom line: hire Adena to photograph your wedding!
