Emily Threlkeld
Emily is a fifth-generation Texan who was born and raised in Houston. She started writing poems and stories when she was in the third grade and never really stopped. Technically, her first marriage was to her stuffed raccoon Ringo (named for the Beatle). She wore her yellow Easter dress to the ceremony, and her mother officiated. In her spare time, she likes to cook, watch movies made before 1970, cross-stitch, travel, and take photographs. She has a BFA in Creative Writing, a cat named after the heroine of To Kill a Mockingbird, and a permanent case of wanderlust.
