Q:So I just got married, and I was expecting that in the days and weeks afterward I’d be full of calm and happiness. But somehow, that’s not what’s hitting me. So my question is this: Post-wedding jitters—is it a thing? As a self-proclaimed chill bride, I enjoyed the planning process and rode the wave. I’m supposed to be basking in the glow of my wedding day, but now I’m fretting over those little “should haves” and “did I’s.” Is it weird that these things are nagging at me from my wedding? How can I make them go away? Will they go away on their own?
Are post-wedding jitters actually a thing? What couldn’t you stop thinking about after your wedding day? After you got hitched, did you feel the way you expected to feel, or no?
