Q: Dear APW staff,
My boyfriend and I have just booked our plane tickets from Paris to California for a road trip in September (insert cry of joy here). As part of this trip, I would like to plan a photo session, because arms’ length pictures are cute in a way, but it would be nice to have some awesome pictures of us taken by an actual professional California photographer.
So to all the lovely Californians out there, where should we plan this? We love nature and cities equally, so woods or sea are perfect, as are parks and skyscrapers. If you know that wonderful little hidden place, would you please, please, please, share it with me (and all APW readers)? (I’ll give you my favorite spots in France, I promise.)
With your help, I’ll be able to find among the wonderful sane vendors a great photographer that will capture some memories of this trip.

OKay, APW, This should be easy. How many engagement shoots/wedding portraits have you done in california? Millions? You’ve got to have some favorite spots you can share with us! What are the best hidden waterfalls or epic fields? Where’s an awesome spot to grab a romantic skyline shot? Who did you love working with (maybe SOMEONE FROM OUR VENDOR DIRECTORY)? California: now’s the time to gush over people and places who made pretty pictures happen.
