One sentence sum-up of the wedding vibe: Our wedding was an inter-generational party fueled on Wisconsin beer, farm-fresh food, and LOVE with a rooftop ceremony overlooking Capitol Square.

Favorite Thing About the wedding
Exchanging our vows in front of our family and friends will be a cherished memory. We laughed. We cried. We said everything we’ve always wanted to say and promised each other the best life ever.
Other Cool Stuff we should know about
The Madison Children’s Museum was the first and only venue we considered for our wedding. We loved that it has indoor and outdoor space with built-in entertainment. (Chickens! A slide! A human hamster wheel!) Most importantly, it’s a special place in our community where families spend time together, learning and playing! Our families traveled from Massachusetts and California to meet us in our lovely little city in the Midwest.
We spent the morning of our wedding day getting ready with our immediate family in the home we own together. Christy and James Tyler were a calming presence and totally went with the flow of our relaxed preparations, capturing everything from the day so beautifully. The food was perfectly fresh, a lot of it from the Farmer’s Market that day. We danced like crazy to Duke’s playlist featuring eighties and nineties indie and punk rock favorites. Our only regret is not eating more pie!
