Q: Hi APW!
I’m wondering how you pick your maid of honor? There are many friends I have been close with in high school and college, but I don’t consider myself a “best friend” kind of girl. Some stand out to me more than others, but really, I’ll just be happy they are all there to celebrate on my wedding day. Most of the people I would put in that spot, have been the maid of honor in someone else’s wedding, so I’m wondering if that is weird. Also, my groom has two brothers, so there isn’t a way to get out of having “best people.”

OK, APW, this is a tough one. If there’s not one “best” friend Or sister or brother or whatnot that clearly denotes the best person title, how do you choose? Is there a way to pick one and still avoid hurting feelings? did you wish you’d picked someone else? Share your wedding party wisdom, please!
