What was totally worth it:
Finding the photographer that would listen to us and focus on capturing the parts of the day that mattered most to us. And the Photo Booth and open bar! Our day-of wedding coordinator made everything flow much more smoothly.
What was totally not worth it:
Ordering extra non-cake dessert.
A few things that helped us along the way:
Having each person be responsible for major parts of wedding planning.
My best practical advice for my planning self:
Don’t explore too many options, focus on the two-three things that matter most to you.
Favorite thing about the wedding:
Our vows, and being surrounded by all of our family and friends from different part of our lives.
