Assuming you’re the same, then here are the deals you’ve been waiting for to finally jump on booking those holiday portraits or wedding photography (or coordinator or gown).
Because trade secret real talk: if you don’t want to spend all the dollars on professional photography, fall is the best time to snag a deal. Many professional wedding and portrait photographers set up “mini-sessions” in late fall or early winter, which are short portrait sessions that you can get for a fraction of a normal sitting fee. We’re talking absolutely stunning photos that are perfect for holiday cards, save the dates, or just generally having flattering non-selfies and only require about thirty minutes of your time.
And similarly, when it comes to saving your budget on wedding vendors, the early bird totally gets the worm. Fall is when many vendors still have plenty of dates open on their calendar for next year, but are still charging this year’s prices—and often offer additional discounts for booking early.
So, to save you from having to search for the good stuff, we reached out to our favorite APW photographers, planners, and other vendors to see what they were offering.
