The feature is synced with the calendar your guests chose to use, meaning they can auto add the event name, location, start and end time, and description directly into their own calendars. Now, your guests don’t have to constantly reference your wedding site to figure out if the rehearsal dinner starts at 6 or 7, and they have even less of an excuse for showing up to the ceremony ten minutes after it began.
YOU CAN MAKE YOUR WEDDING REGISTRY ON YOUR GLÖSITE
Chances are you’re going to make your wedding registry somewhere (or in multiple spots) on the Internet, and you want a quick and easy way to send your guests to them… without giving just a few text links. Which is why Glö created an in-house registry template, thus making your wedding website building experience that much more streamlined.
Once you’re logged into your Glö account, the feature is easy to find:
- Navigate to “Manage Glösite (your website)” OR click “View your Glösite” button to view your site as an admin
- Scroll down to the list of pages and find the page that says “Registry” and click the edit icon
- In the “Registry Information” section, add the name, link, and an image for each registry you would like to feature.
- Save! Each link will be displayed on your Glösite like so.
You can link to any registries you’ve set up on your page—including physical stores, online stores, or virtual cash registries. If standardized registry listings aren’t working for you, you can use the text from your registry page. You can also add on Paypal Registry Buttons, and if you’ve already created a registry page on your website before this feature was launched, you can still add it in.
