It’s that time, so let’s check in.
Oh, me? I got MARRIED! That’s right, I graduated from the wedding planning class of 2020-2021. We made it through pandemic-adjacent wedding planning, mostly unscathed. We had a truly special and happy wedding weekend that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I can’t wait to tell (and show) you all about it, soon. In the meantime, I’m here to gently and lovingly remind you that it is possible, even when it doesn’t feel like it, and you will get through it. And in the end, you’ll be married to your person. Really! You can do this.
In the meantime, it can all feel like… a lot. I know this. But you don’t have to do it alone. We’ve got your back.
So, how are you all? Let’s talk about all the things. Where are you in the wedding planning process? How are you feeling…really? What are you nervous about, right now? What are you most excited about? Share your wins, your struggles, your worries, and your joys.
Is the news of the delta variant causing you all new COVID wedding planning stress? Ugh. I see you. Has your future mother-in-law started trying to take over too much? Tell us about it. Are you trying to figure out how on earth to manage some fresh budget stress? We’re here to help. Did you hear about the Supreme Court not-really-a-ruling on businesses that won’t serve same-sex weddings? Got feelings? I do. Or do you just have some straight-up logistics questions you need help navigating? This is the place.
This is your open thread, so make it whatever you need. You have the whole APW team, my wedding planner and recently-wed knowledge, and truly the best community on the web. Let’s get to it.
