So many parts of wedding planning are unnecessarily stressful. Guest list politics. Figuring out what you’re going to feed people. Navigating outdated traditions. So when you get to make a decision that is decidedly uncomplicated, that’s when you should just lean hard into whatever it is you like and enjoy the heck out of it. Like paper. Choosing invitations and save the dates is highly unlikely to cause family rifts or increase your budget by $5,000, which makes them a delightful break from reality.

And few companies do stationery more delightfully than our faves at Minted. Their designs are fun and modern, and what’s best, they support independent artists all over the world. So today we’ve partnered up with Minted to take a break from the nitty-gritty of wedding planning and share some of our favorites of their new save the date designs (and spoiler alert, Minted is giving away $175 in free paper goodness at the end of this post, so keep on scrolling). You can get Minted save the dates in a whole range of formats, from magnets to mini books, even foil-printed or letterpress save the dates, and they all come with my favorite Minted feature: free recipient addressing. Because writing out a hundred envelopes is… a lot of hand cramps. And pro-tip: You don’t need a professional photo to make a great save the date. Our holiday card photo tips are totally applicable to on-the-fly engagement photos too.
