Accessories haven’t always been high on my list of must-haves, but now that reusable face masks are essential I’m finding myself collecting them with enthusiasm. (Tell me I’m not the only one.) And I’m also the type of person that likes options. And there are so many options. Whether you’re all about the basics or prefer something with a little extra oomph there’s something out there for everyone.
Now that we’re about 5 months into this face mask thing, you can find reusable face masks for purchase just about anywhere. I will say though, that my favorite reusable face masks have been the gifted handmade ones from friend’s and family (Can’t really beat that.) Beyond collecting masks from my nearest and dearest, my favorite place to shop for reusable face masks from small businesses is Etsy. Can you believe Etsy reported 29 million face masks sold in their second quarter alone? And if I can’t wait for the delivery window from an Etsy seller and need a mask ASAP, most larger department and retail stores like Target have started selling them as well so you can pick up a multi-pack on the same day.
Let’s Talk Mask Accessories
You heard me right, mask accessories. While doing a deep dive through the internet, a common theme was recurring. Mask chains. It’s like someone took the sunglasses lanyards of the 90s and made them hip again albeit with a modern twist. And I’m all for it. Why not accessorize my accessories? I’m really loving this pearl one and I can see myself definitely making this simple gold chain mask holder a part of my layered necklace rotation. If I must wear a face mask you better believe I’ll do my best to make it fashion. Kidding, but not really.
