How To Win At Your Wedding Photography

Every once in a blue moon, a wedding photographer comes along whose work is so good, it makes you consider framing photos of strangers’ weddings to hang on your walls (like the one above, the kind of wedding from which DIY dreams are made). (That would be weird right? Ugh.) Shaw Photography Co. is one of those photography teams, so today is the day you hit the jackpot.

Husband and wife team Brian and Christina, offer free travel throughout the U.S. and an array of coverage options to accommodate all kinds of weddings and budgets (with coverage starting at $2,500). The Shaws once hit the road in a vintage RV, so they’re no stranger to shooting weddings all over the States, which means no matter where you’re getting married, you can hire them to create artistic images from your wedding to frame. The only bad news? With images this good, rates this reasonable, and free travel, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Shaws were booked solid in a hot minute.

Christina and Brian are the kind of photographers you hire when you want to sit back and let artists create amazing work, trusting that they are going to work their magic to deliver uniquely beautiful photos. As they say about their approach to shooting weddings:

At the core of all we do is the belief that we are brought together with you to create something magical. We work alongside soul-filled clients who have a deep appreciation for photography and honest storytelling. We don’t work from shot lists, we work from our hearts, with the finest attention given to the important moments that make life so full. We recognize every wedding is unique and work hard to capture natural images that reflect your day as beautiful as it is. We know when to direct and be up close and personal, and when to stand back and photograph from a place of observation and documentation.

In addition to all that incredible artistry, the Shaws are downright awesome people. Above all else, they value authentic connections and working alongside kindhearted and adventurous spirits, and it shows in the reviews from happy clients:

The Shaws are wonderful, kind, loving, insanely talented people! Their work is aesthetically ethereal and full of storytelling. They treated me and my (now) husband as close friends and yet remained professional throughout our engagement photo session and wedding day. The end results were beautiful! I’m constantly stunned at how great our photos turned out—no matter how many times I’ve looked at them (and I promise you, it’s a lot). Christina and Brian are a dream to work with, and I would definitely recommend these two to anyone who is looking to capture a special occasion in their life!
